I have IIIS with Bluetooth and updated with the MK802IIIS8BT.img. It seems to work okay, though Bluetooth cannot be turned on afterwards. I have to flash back to the original firmware. Anyone has the same problem with Bluetooth?

Installed the new firm 0121.
Didn't manage with a blank sd-card with only the image file.
Had 2 find a Windows box for the update.
Installation of the driver went well, although it took some time before RKBatchtool recognised my MK802iiiS.
But finally it did lucky me ;-)
Update went fine and i'm happy with the results:
- better wifi reception
- no more need 2 plug in the USB connector for power: it works fine on the power it receives from the HDMI connector ;-)
- the higher amount of ROM-space is a relief, although i already made use of Link2SD

All-in-all i'm very happy with this update!

Mine have the same issue.

Geekbuying says they have tested them to work properly with mk802III etc. And since they recommend it I don't doubt it.
It works for me, but neither me or any of my friends get more than 4MBPS per second with them. Tested on both MK802III and IIIS.

I don't know if newer firmwares might have changed this? Any other that has tested these ones from Geekbuying and got higher speeds?
I bought one in Sweden that is working at high speed though from "König".

Hi Folks,

I reflashed with the new image hoping to fix the flash-based web browsing capabilities. After upgrading, my device cannot connect with my wifi router. The device connected to my wifi just fine before the upgrade.

frustrating...

Same problem for me... I can´t connet to wifi anymore

Same here. It connected to my router out of the box, but not with the upgrade. I reverted back to the prior image - nothing. Back to this updated image - nothing.

When is the linux img going to be ready?

Updated my MK802-IIIs to the newest firmware, everything went fine and the wifi now works like a charm.
However if I go to Settings > Storage I only have 1.08Gb available disk space and nothing under NAND FLASH or SD CARD.

Is this normal?

Thanks

i forgot to tell how i connected things
the hdmi goes to my monitor
the micro usb with dc goes to an external adapter 5V-2A
the usb host goes to a Toshiba Dynadock, so i have 6 extra usb ports, and sound and network
the second micro usb goes to non powered usb hub for mouse and keyboard

Anybody else had their USB OTG port locked up after this upgrade? If I connect an optical mouse to it, I can see that it lights up, so there must be current in there but I cannot use for anything. I used to have an USB-Ethernet dongle connected but it is useless now. Wifi works however.

How? Mine doesn't work that way. Mine is connected to a computer monitor, I can software shut down and it will turn itself on when I turn on the monitor which I don't need to pull the power when I don't use it but I still need the USB power.
