Unable to install drivers on Windows 8.1
Following the guide, Windows detects an Unknown Device. But when choosing drivers Windows says "no compatible driver found...."

Booted up an old laptop with XP where I was able to install drivers.

Now I'll try update software....

For the furture.. Win 8.1 fix someone?

This may help other readers if they are stuck at the point where they think they have installed the drivers successfully, but that the batch tool fails and shows a pink square rather than a green one.

I had been trying for hours to work around this; the answer is stupidly simple - if you get the pink simply click on the Switch button - it then turns green.

I wish I had tried this 1st as it would have saved hours of frustration...

Hi, I have a Rikomagic MK802IIIS and by mistake flashed on it the RKM S8B_131107 version. I didn't realise the difference at that time.

So, wifi and BT do not work.
When I went to put the correct firmware I realise that the "recovery button" doesn't work either.

The short circuit method of MK802III does not work for me.

What else I can try?

Thanks in Advance

Vibosoft Data Recovery Master program can be able to thoroughly scan deepest data sectors, and then list the original directory structure. Just have a try!

My device is getting stuck at the stage of loading (green android dude remains on the screen forever).
Unfortunately, when going through the procedure and connecting my decide to the PC, nothing happens.
I tried it with two different PCs - Win7 & Win8, waiting to see a try to install the driver but no signal that something is happening on the PC.
I do see a blue light inside the device, probably a result of it being connected to USB power.
Any idea what I can do ?
Thanks for your support!
