RKM MK802IIIS8G(B) Software (140312)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/g2iabe
filename: RKM S8B_140312.zip
changelog: Optimized WIFI performance

I have no further information - am still downloading it myself.

EDIT: to followup - this does not work on the 1st generation stick.
It is made for the stick that has the large RKM logo on it.

Does anyone have a version of this that is working for the 1th generation stick?

Right now my Rikomagic is stuck with the 131107 version. And that version has serious problems. For example Netflix stutters like crazy, so watching movies is not pretty.
The 4.1 worked fine, but after upgrading to 4.2 downgrading to Android 4.1 is not possible. (The flash fails every time.)

.. so right now my Rikomagic is useless :(

i just tried this firmware and the wifi has gone bust....i am unable to 'enable' wifi using the button in the settings...

as soon as i turn it on, it tries to enable the wifi and then automatically turns itself 'off' after some time..

reverted to the previous firmware...any chance this could be fixed.. ?

I have a 2nd generation stick (big android logo) and updated to this version of firmware trying to solve the slow wifi problem, but it didn't. Now, every time a turn off my tv, the stick loses its time and date memory and turns off the wifi. I don't know if the old firmware kept the time and date while turned off, but at least, as soon as I turned it on, the time and date were automaticaly set through the internet connection. This new version doesn't do it, because I have to turn wifi on manualy. And the slow wifi problem got worst, because now it doesn't work at all some times.

Anybody experiencing this? I downloading the old version to downgrade right now.
