Kernel Compile

Postby Sahab » Sat Jun 22, 2013 9:50 pm

I want to use kernel with mali support, but already compiled kernels(olegk0 / Galland / Alok and others except of ug802) don't work with my device (mk802 iiis 4g). Maybe cause they are built for mk808(b).
I think maybe if I compile myself they will be working.
Can somebody help me with this, or build especially for mk802 iiis ?
Thx.

Compile your kernel for picuntu using source code here.

https://github.com/aloksinha2001

By the way built in Wifi won't work on the mk802IIIS

putting module in and initializing isn't hard... just sudo -thunar for example as browser, put module in drivers and edit its path in init file (this is not a precise guide - i don't even remember every step, but it wasn't hard)
