We really aught to use a standard file test system for gauging uniform results on the IV, or any other make and model of tv stick. There are too many variances between video rips in any container form. A file's frame rate alone can pose a significant processor demand that sets it aside from the same vid ripped at a different frame rate. That being said, if we can locate open rights or creative commons 720p and 1080p video at the most common frame rates, both 29 fps and 60 fps for each resolution, we will have a standard to test off of. If we stick to a unified video test system, judging standards and benchmarking will be easier. Ideally, the test videos need not be longer than 5 to 10 minutes, as that's plenty of time for errors, bugs and artifacts to rear their ugly heads when put to pressure and to keep the collective test file sizes low. I'm thinking for a full test video pack it will take four 720p vid files and four 1080p files, each resolution having a subset of two mkv files and two mp4 files. Those two would be split into two frame rates for each file type.

Example:
720p
- mkv @ 29fps
- mkv @ 60fps
- mp4 @ 29fps
- mp4 @ 60fps

1080p
- mkv @ 29fps
- mkv @ 60fps
- mp4 @ 29fps
- mp4 @ 60fps

After work today I will try to compile something relevant and post results to a dedicated thread. May take a few days to put it up for grabs, and when I do it will be in a direct download and a .torrent package.
I'm sure some of us use .torrents anyway, so a certain number of us would be able to share duty load and not rely entirely on overloaded and slow file share servers.

This seems to have fixed the micro stutter issues, although now video crawls to a halt if you move the mouse while playing lol

Spoke too soon :( hd is better, micro stutter almost all gone (but still not better then moving the mouse on the old version) but sd video is much much WORSE massive stutter and sound issues ffs

Really regret buying this now, how hard is it to get the correct drivers loaded onto this????
