I've got some custom firmware from freaktab, dont remember exact version. How should I boot to linux?
Firmware is rooted and when I go to console and type "su" and "reboot recovery", nothing happens, black screen.

how should the partition on SD be made? Parted makes default sd[X]1. I remember on older version of picuntu, script was making partition on the whole SD card, without part number, sd[X]. I tried to make normal partition sdd1 instead of sdd, but that way it could not boot. Is it possible that that is the problem here also?

Thank you

If you have a custom ROM from freaktab - just flash the PicUntu kernel in 'recovery' image.
SD partition has to be one, called 'linuxroot' and it should be an ext4 partition.

Thanks in advance.

Popenz,

Thats great news... what core ROM are you using.. I have a 3188 too... Cube - UTV - will try to test it out.. ???

For internal HDMI, I believe, there are supposed to be some in built steps I have to enable in custom-ROM.

Let me know the android ROM you are using... then will test out PicUntu on Tab too..

Not sure, I understood the question - but i am assuming, you are asking, if it can be flashed again - sure it can be - you would have to get into the boot loader mode using the reset button on the device.

What device do you have - if it is MK802IV - can you also share the serial number....

Hi!
I can't get it to work. Probably because I cant press down the "reset button"
I've tried for several hours and I can't hear a "clicking" sound.. I suspect that the button doesn't work at all

Is there any other way to install PicUntu on my Mk802IV ?
