I downloaded it last night and successfully installed onto my old wifi chip MK802IV and its works perfect...WIFI Ethernet working well (Yet to test Bluetooth). Nice to See that it's a very light ROM leaving u with a option to only install apps that you really use and its good that XMBC preinstalled (will try it over the weekend). I wasnt sure if my RKM wifi remote App will work with 4.4 or not as it was released for 4.2 but it works well as well.

I noticed default browser does not support flash anymore being Kitkat. Any suggestion for browsers that will work well with flash on Kitkat? I have downloaded latest available archived version of flash from adobe site.

Last but not the least Many thanks to RKM for finally releasing 4.4 for Old MK802IV

Hey Guys - I am a brand new user on this site. The reason I am here is that I recently purchased a MK802IV.
The "about" tells me that the build is 20140312.165116 and it is loaded with Jellybean 4.2.2.
I have to tell you I am bitterly disappointed with the performance of it . The video keeps hanging and pixillating, and even when I try to go on to playstore to down load some apps it keeps timing out!
On the website there are two downloads which are perported to be applicable to my unit. They are the firmware update and Kit Kat 4.4.
From the small amount I have read on this forum I am no orphan in regards to this problem.
Can anybody tell me if those downloads are likely to have me smiling rather than being ready to stomp on the damn thing?

Only a little blind :)

The ones for the newer with aren't label as new wifi but rather ap6210.
In this case though you want http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php? ... 2-*Update* (hardware the same)
You must set up locations serves by letting it boot once or the option wont work later.

Then flash D33 kernels for tv stick 4.2 http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php? ... l-most!%29
500mhz -1.6ghz

To flash a kernel put the device in flash mode as normal and uncheck everything except the kernel..then press the small tab at the right of the kernel and browse to the unzip D33 one (either sd 6210 or hd 6210).
The download folder doesn't work correctly and he forgot to include a on-board keyboard so you need a actually one to setup and download one from the play store.

Its runs very stable otherwise and is fully rooted.
