Hello Everyone,

We recently published the Linux Sources for the RK3188 on Alok Sinha's Git:

https://github.com/aloksinha2001/Linux3188.git

This forum has been created to assist the continuous development of Linux on this amazing Quad Core platform.

Thanks,

Andy Kirby

Has anyone gotten a Linux build (Picuntu or otherwise) to work on the MK802IV with working wifi and bluetooth yet? I've seen lots of dev work around but curious about it's actual status.

I've got a non-functional device from trying. I would advise a bit of patience in this department, because the MK802IV is just plain cool. To experiment with it could cost you a bit of time and money as it did for me. Not saying I wouldn't do it again, but I think I would just wait for a more stable .img to be released for it. It's pretty new, but... it is working with Ubuntu 12.04 as we speak. I could not replicate it before my device pooped, but I was close, I know where I was in error now. Here is the link for the Linuxium article http://www.cnx-software.com/2013/06/15/ubuntu-12-04-now-boots-on-rockchip-rk3188-mini-pcs-t428-mk908-rikomagic-mk802-iv/

Puppy Linux is being reported to work as well, there would be even less support down that avenue.
