Gigabit USB NIC

Hi,
Which Gigabit USB NICs (Chipsets) are supported? I tried Edimax EU-4306, no results.

I have been looking for this somewhere else without success. IMO this is an interesting question so if anyone has checked some Gigabit card it would be great to know about it.

In any way mk902 has only USB2 so that means that any gigabit will be limited close to half speed.

Hey,
Thanks for the reply! Was hoping for more than one but it` s still better than nothing.
I found a device that could work, it seems that the chipset drivers are updated frequently:

PLUGABLE USB 2.0 10/100/1000 GIGABIT ETHERNET ADAPTER chipset AX88178

http://www.asix.com.tw/download.php?sub ... PItemID=84
I think i`ll give it a try if i can get it to ship to Latvia..

P.S. True that about the USB2 speed, but still the 480Mbit should be at least 2 times faster than Fast Ethernet limit.
P.P.S I read that the RKM902II has gigabit NIC, but it still does not perform at maximum speeds as well.
