Sorry, I must have serendipitously discovered the method.

1) You must plug the mk802 with the power cable and allow it to boot up (this usually takes around a minute?)
2) Plug in USB cable to PC and wait.. windows should eventually find the device
3) Unzip the ADB driver files and install using windows device manager
4

That should do it.. I think the key is that you must have power cord plugged in.

Maybe the key is to plug it AFTER boot! :'( omg! Gonna try...
[EDIT]
Still, doesn't work!

USB debugging -> ON!
Tried with -> Windows XP, Windows 7, Ubuntu linux. Nothing.
No Unknown devices (there isn't also a plug sound!!!)

I have noticed that the "recovery firmware" isn't equal to the original stock firmware, it is another revision. Maybe with the newer software something goes wrong?

[EDIT]
It was an USB chord issue, use a shorter one!!!

F***ing cable XD
You can always try this but we got no physical buttons...also if this works...how can we move through the menus??? Strange workaround is needed!!!

Yep! I was working with this source

Unfortunately using this guide I boot into a softbrick screen with a dead android and no buttons...
If I use ADB to run the scripts it completely screws up the bootloader and won't reboot into android without a fresh firmware load.
The odd thing is that my monitor dosen't say "no signal detected" for the latter.. perhaps the CWM works but is in an incompatible format/resolution for output...This is probably beyond my skillset... but I'll keep searching!

I've just analyzed the code...looks like it pushes down the HDMI at the maximum resolution. So, if your monitor doesn't support 1080, your screen remains black!
