Applied this fix that KEgg wrote:

And now i can install the zips without problems. Even though explorer was showing the files on the external SDCard they weren't there or they were corrupted/incomplete (maybe only a reference or 0 byte file) and that's why CWM couldn't find any files on the SD card!
Now i have gapps installed! :D

Under Firmware 2 there is a link to a fun mk802 update that works and installs CM9 on the device.

_funs update never worked for me (if youre talking about the update.zip that was posted on his download site on the 16th)...for what I could tell, from reading scattered messages over on xda, there's an issue when it comes to HDMI output. The time I tried the update.zip, all I got was a blank screen. It's quite hard to see if _fun is making any progress with Mk802 CM9, and from the looks of it, he's a pretty busy guy, just trying to cater for AllWinner tablets.

Keep reading. You are correct in that the first update which came from xda has no HDMI output. However further along in the discussion you'll find a link to the fun update. I just installed it and the only problem I've noticed so far is the screen size is still off. I am going to install the factory update rev2 and put cm9 after to see if this will fix screen size.

Mk802update.zip installs cm9, works well. BTW installing the rev2 firmware fixes screen resolution. Now ill try cm9 to see if screen stays good.

That CM9 is sexy.. Used previous FW_003 to install the CWM update over. So far this seems to be better than the most recent firmware update... a lot of testing to do... mmm, and the possibility of a bluetooth dongle woking will make my day :)

If all goes well and the update can be applied to the latest Riko Firmware, I'm going to have to suggest using CWM update straight away.

Off to test video and audio issues I was having with the new FW.

**UPDATE... CM9 Seems to be lacking HDMI Audio support
