I've been waiting for this... tried it out on a mk802 clone and an mk808 both 1gb ram, random 720p movie smb streaming; Played good on mk808 except for a second at the start, unwatchable on mk802. Seems to have some codec bugs, second movie I tried on mk808 was scrambled and crashed/rebooted the mk808 after about 5 seconds.

This was all default settings. Not sure if i need to tweak something or not?
Also XBMC has a bug with the mouse pointer and not hiding the controls, too sensitive or something.

tbh honest not done much extensive testing cause gone back to "user friendly build". but any problems just matter of time i guess before being solved:)

Has anyone tried the latest on this yet?

I have the 1gb ram mk802, was painfully slow until I whacked the uberoid Rom on it so I have new expectations for using it to stream media.

I've not had time to look at it yet, but I've also read mx player will play xbmc content well. I've tried streaming this over the network and it wasn't great. I've not tried playing things from the sd card yet either.

I was playing around with video plugins, this program has HUGE potential but so many bugs.
The Youtube pluging looks far better than the actual playstore app - except the videos are completely scrambled!
Audio is fine.
