Hi Andy,

I ordered mine this morning and eagerly awaiting it. I've shown the listing and Youtube videos to several of my work colleagues and it's got their interest too but they've all said they'll wait until I get mine and see how well it works before placing their orders. From my perspective, at £48 it is worth the punt and if it's as good as it looks I'm going to be well chuffed.

I didn't realize until after placing my order that there are actually 2 versions (512MB & 1GB RAM) so I fired off a message to Michelle Ding via Aliexpress so see if would be possible to upgrade my order to the 1GB version.

Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,

That's brilliant, I think there's a lot of people who have ordered and are now waiting in anticipation for them to arrive.

Yes there are 2 versions, the first batch was 512MB and these are shipping out now. I believe all orders after the 25th May will be shipping around the 10th June and then the 1GB models after that. Currently the 1GB model is 10USD more so you may want to check with Michelle about this.

It all depends whether you want to wait for the version with more memory or you just want one in your hands ASAP!

Well I made all the arrangements with Michelle and paid the upgrade fee to the 1GB model so all I can do is sit back and wait (impatiently) now. I really hope shipping doesn't take too long. Then pay the VAT and punitive £8 customs charge :x for them to release it and we should be good to go.

Just received mine today.. Was playing around with it and for some reason it wont install any APPS.. says there isn't enough space... I plug in a microSD and still has the same error?

Is there a firmware image that I can install to fix this?

Hi,

Was it installing apps prior to the power being disconnected?

How were you installing the Apps?

I think the vold.fstab is corrupted... because the internal storage is reading (otherwise I wouldn't be able to run Android) but It won't show me how full it is.

Could somoene do a /system/ pull and upload?

Ok, its definately a corruption due to the power disconnection and now it sounds like something isn't mounting doesn't it.

I will see if we can get a firmware file for you, or yes if someone could upload /system then that would be helpful.
