Adapter Lan USB

Postby gatto99 » Sat Aug 25, 2012 10:25 am

Hi, I tried this StarTech USB 2.0 COMPACT BLACK TO 10/100 USB2106S
attached to the USB port and it works perfectly on the network. My MK802 has rev.2 firmware.

Thank you.

So, should any work? As long as drivers aren't required? If so, I'll be grabbing one next week.

Hard to say if they all work, but many do.
Run into a problem? Need ***Mini PC/MK802 services***?

This adapter definitely works and does not need drivers, others I could not test them. ;)

Do you find it really much faster than the wifi connection? What I mean is that I am not sure if the Internet speed problems are caused by the internal wifi antena. In that case, that adapter should improve to Internet connection. Is this right?

Well, if you were viewing 720P video through SAMBA or DLNA, you will see the difference.

For poor wifi signal, my experience is keep MK802 away from other HDMI cable or any other interference source

I noticed the difference when surfing the internet but it is especially in the vision of video files from a NAS. Now that I have this device, I'm not back to back over WIFI. :D

Note that the Apple - USB Ethernet Adapter (MC704ZM/A) works fine.
