Wifi Hardware

Postby ttl » Mon Jun 04, 2012 7:45 am

Hi there,

very interesting product, would love to see the Eco-system building around it (users programming for it, using it for their projects)
can you please specify what is the wifi hardware onboard, the wifi chip type

also, will you supply any kind of development support (SDK, bootloader, JTAG-headers) ?

Thanks,
Amir.

Hi Amir,

Yes there will be some interesting stuff unfolding over the coming months as far as developing for this device goes.

We are already working with a leading Linux distribution to get support for this device so it's very exciting times.
All information regarding this will be posted on here as soon as it happens.

As for the wifi chipset it's a Ralink 8188 which is a very supported chipset already.

All the best,

Andy

What is the maximum data rate through the Wi-Fi? Realy 802.11b/g/n or 802.11b/g only? I find different data specifications...
