it is perfectly normal. what you see is fat partition for script files and other necessary system files to boot up. Linux is in the second partition which windows wont show up in my computer.

if you'd like to see the second partition and also to resize it for covering all your card capacity do this:

Open Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk management

There you will find your sd card and partitions inside. And you will able to resize your sd card linux partition.

But be careful with disk management; you can delete your other hdd partitions and lost your precious data.

Cheers

Hi,
Can the kernel be replaced with the one from toby's linaro linux image?
I compiled the kernel used on toby's linaro linux image to have wireless 8188eu driver and iptables and I would like to use it on lubuntu 12.04 image.
Or from where can I get the source code for this version of kernel?

Hi all, i have a problem. I tried both rikomagic and miniand distros but i can't get them to work. With rikomagic lubuntu distro i get to the login screen and once i enter the password i get this: http://i.imgur.com/gNi352X.jpg. Using miniand distro i get this instead (it doesn't even show the login prompt): http://i.imgur.com/qA8x8Tw.jpg
I also tried to boot up openelec arm version but nothing happens, it just skips the microsd and boots into android.

The picture looks like kernel gpu driver issue.
You could try to remove your SD card, mount it and check /var/log dir, especially Xorg.log and syslog.log amybe there you will find obvious error or something

HI,

Like others here, I have eventually managed to download the image and it mostly works fine. The main problem is that I have the rtl8188eu wireless chip, so WiFi doesn't work. Could the driver be put into the Ricomagic image, or alternatively could we get hold of the source for the kernel to be able to compile it ourselves?

The other issue is that the Lubuntu Software Centre doesn't work. Clicking on the menu option does nothing.

Thanks,
Ned

I have the same problem :( I try to make lubuntu bootable but the a10s architecture is not the same like a10. A made kernel image with sun5i support using linux-sunxi3.4 , the u-boot with config from my mk802+ cs102 and still , no red led light on the boot. And still i found traders on the net with cs102 with no information about other processor then a10 .
