I think is a problem related to hdmi-cec.

I use the last firmware from rikomagic (141227) and hdmi-cec is turned on by default.
Fix list:
1 - Update the blue ray library, audio track can be switched.
2 - Support BD ISO 3D playback.
3 - Fixed Keyboard/Mouse lag issue.
4 - Fix some Incompatible problems of some apps in Google play store.
5- Update ffmpeg video libary, fixed some blurred screen issue.
6- Optimize USB camera
7- Update root code.
8- Default HDMI CEC turn on.
9 - Passthrough spmc and kodi fixed.
10 - Iperf wifi program installed stock.
11 - Improved wifi perferance.
12 - Improved performance for Video
13.- Support ext4 format u disk and exfat sd card
14.- Fix some 4k -h.265 problems.
15.- Better browser support.

I can't found any preference to turning off cec.

I managed to turning off in my tv set (Panasonic named it Viera Link), but nothing changed.

Hi,

I have problems with this HDMI-CEC On by default...
Is there a solution to turn on Off via a parameter in a configuration file ?

Hi,

I suggested to hotline to introduce a new parameter "HDMI-CEC : On/Off" in the Android Menu...

Any news on the status of this bug? Is Rikomagic aware of it? Are there any plans for a fix? The box needs to be plugged and unplugged every time you use it because of this.

Nothing here : http://www.rikomagic.com/en/download/download_43_1.html
There is a "MK902II Fixed List.txt" file in Download, and nothing about the HDMI-CEC problem or turn off :(

Fix list for MK902II_0401:
1.Update to New UI
2.Update XBMC to Kodi14.1
3.Optimized 4K video playback
4.Update FFMPEG Video decode library.Fixed memory leak bug.Fixed 3D video Playback flashing bug.
5.Fixed that some external USB hard drive can not be recognized multi-partition problem
6.Fixed Skype voice calling bug
7.Optimized the connection compatibility of 4K 60Hz TV set

** Update by computer still;
** Based on this FW, user can update by USB Flash to update to more newer fw.

=> no HDMI-CEC off ! :|

There is another firmware released since this last post (150529) but it appears that it doesn't solve this problem either. It doesn't look like Rikomagic really cares about solving this issue. They released multiple firmwares so far, none of them addresses this. Does anybody know of a workaround for this problem?
