I will be doing a full backup with Titanium Backup Root before doing the upgrade. Then restore the backup in total. Having done this on a phone and two tablets in the past, it's not usually too painful....

New firmware was released 150529, it only says that the fixed optical output has noise issue. I've got score of 34000 on antutu, last fm it was on 37k.
Anyone got an idea what did they change also?

Do you rkflashtool to the recovery section, or the kernel section?

Code: Select all
CMDLINE:androidboot.console=ttyFIQ0 init=/init initrd=0x62000000,0x00800000 mtdparts=rk29xxnand:0x00002000@0x00002000(misc),0x00008000@0x00004000(kernel),0x00008000@0x0000C000(boot),
0x0001000@0x00014000(recovery),0x00001000@0x00015000(backup),0x00001000@0x00016000(cache),
0x00001000@0x00017000(userdata),0x00002000@0x00018000(kpanic),0x00001000@0x0001A000(system),
0x00001000@0x0001B000(user),-@0x0001C000(linux)

where do you stuff the newer image? I don't want to brick this thing! I've also finally wised up that this is the MK902, not the MK902II
