Recovery image creation

Postby giupmat » Thu Dec 04, 2014 4:36 pm

Hi guys,
my company would like to use the MK902II LE for a project in developing and then I'm testing it (actually I'm testing MK802 and MK902).
Before proceeding with any huge change to the OS I'd like to create a recovery image, to avoid problems. I tried to use something like the old good dd command but it seems ineffective.
As chris wrote in this topic, I'm looking for USB/SD boot in order to perform a functioning dd copy of entire emmc.

How can I create a solid recovery factory OS image?
Could you please help me?

Despite no one has responded to my request I have finally created a solid recovery image of my MK!
Using rkflashtool I was able to make it.
Anyone who needs it can download it here.

Sorry guys, new file sharing policy on my company!
Let me upload the file to other position (it will take some time).

Do you know about any tool how we can extract partitions from your img file?
Or can you dump firmware with something better?
