ssh root@<INSERT IP ADDRESS HERE>

That's probably not the best security model to use, and surely, not the default one in Ubuntu.
May I suggest, at least, putting a warning, that such a server should never be exposed to the internet.

Try downloading the file again. Or you might need a better program for extracting the archive. ez7z works well on the mac.

Hello,

I tried with two gigabit interfaces (a SMSC7500 and an AX88178) and iPerf and was never able to get more than 10MB/s between the device and my laptop, which sounds closer to a (good) 100Full connection. I tried with a 3.0 and 3.4 kernel. I tested between my laptop and another one with the same cable a got above 30MB/s so I would exclude the cable and the laptop as a potential issue.
Anyone has any idea how I could improve that?

Thanks, Olivier

The A10 Media PC is an excellent device and a capable Linux Box with low power consumption. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB NAND Flash, The free open source tool which allows you to install Linux to the internal NAND Flash of the device and set the video output mode.
