MK802II and DroidMote server

Postby RoyalWulf » Mon Oct 01, 2012 1:56 am

Hi,
Can some confirm that DroidMote Server runs on MK802 II and all I have to do is buy and install it? I see lots of things on MK802 and I know MK802 II is different.

Thanks

Runs perfectly for me. Been playing the Android version of Final Fantasy III without issues (after creating a touch profile for the game)

Most Android games needs some configuration to work properly with Droidmote. Read through the official post on xda-developers.com (How to Create Touch Profiles in Video & How to customize keyboard keys, buttons, and axes actions in DroidMote Server)

Thank you for the replies. I bought the Server and installed.
Some issues/questions.
The mouse pointer stops responding quite a lot, especially after I stop using it. Anybody else have this problem?
The touch profile creator is for windows?? Is there an Android version? If not how do you ceate one for Android games? Or do I not understand?
It reads as if some games such as Raging Thunder 2 supports a gamepad but it doesn't seem to work, do I have to do something to get it to work?

Cheers

Can someone help me out? Thanks!

I experience it, but very rarely. Might be the wireless network.

Yes Touch profile creator is for Windows. The download link is on the xda developer boards url I gave earlier.
To create a touch profile, you need to:
1) Take a screenshot of the game. (Screenshot FREE works for me)
2) Upload that screenshot to your computer (I use Dropbox)
3) Do this
4) Upload the .xml to your phone (I use Dropbox for this too)
5) Move the .xml to the SD card on your phone
6) Start Droidmote Client
7) Go to settings and activate the profile
8) Play the game
Expect to try and fail a couple of times before you get it right, but it's pretty simple. I haven't really gotten to try any of the supported games yet, so I can't help you with issues there.

Do you have Superuser or SuperSU installed? It's required for the server to work.
