Postby nitehack » Sat Dec 22, 2012 3:33 pm

I'm looking for a ROM that supports bluetooth usb. The original mk802 stand it. Why the mk802 ii no?
I'm thinking of selling this.

I am currently testing a CM10 image for this device that I will release relatively soon. Hotplugged bluetooth support does work.

I've tried everything to get a jellybean rom on my MK802ii, but so far no luck.
Do you have an ETA on the CM10 version for the MK802ii?
And who is the developer or is it an official rom from Rikomagic?
Thanks in advance for the answers

Hi. I have a functional rom but I'm still looking to fix up building it from source so that future modifications and source re-syncs will be easier.

This will not be a rikomagic rom, nor an official CM release. I am part of the CM staff (not technically in the same group as our awesome devs), and may try to bring us to official status, but only time will tell.

I can't give an ETA on release, but I will have something out soon, one way or another.

That is great to hear, I thought development for our trusty mk802ii had come to a standstill, Good to know some of you are still working on it. Because Idon't have the time to do it myself. Good luck on the development.
btw does your cm version come with a custom compatibility zip? never really understood what it was for except the boot img.

The rom will be targetted at the mk802ii (and probably uhost u1a) specifically, so there will not be a compatibility zip to apply. The initial install process is a bit more involved than I'd like it to be, but currently the only real requirement is to have a >2gb SD card.

The rom is relatively functional as it stands, and as promised, USB bluetooth functionality is working, so after some more testing, I think it will be ready for release.

Nice. Will it have real 1080p output?

Also could you look into adding a "touch screen device" so that apps like sixaxis controller will work using their touch profiles?

That is awesome news, mostly because CM is awesome, but also given the relatively horrible software support from Rikomagic on the "official" rom. Can't wait!
