MK802II Running Fedora 19 Remix

Postby andykirby » Mon Aug 05, 2013 2:26 pm

Hi Everyone,

The MK802II has been around over a year now. The Linux support for this device has been ongoing and theres been some great developments of late.

It is now possible to run Fedora 19 Remix on the MK802II. This is the perfect distro if you want to use the MK802II for low power applications such as servers etc.

The video below shows the MK802II booting Fedora for the first time and entering the setup wizard which allows you to configure the basics.

It is very exciting to see that the MK802II can be taken out of the box, then insert the Fedora SD card and within minutes you can have yourself a mini Linux system for lower power tasks.

To prepare the Fedora 19 SD card please see: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/linux-sunxi/PLgUj-KefKQ

For those that need a device of this type for running custom software, please feel free to contact us.
