Installed MK802III_20121129 firmware hoping it would allow support for native 1080p but it's still 720p :(

In Settings/Screen/HDMI Mode I have 1920x1080p-60 option selected and my TV reports 1080p mode but the image is 720p upscaled to 1080p.
http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/ reports that it's 1280x720.

Is it just me? Anybody else struggles to get 1080p?

Thanks

OK, I'm having major issues. First, the apps were only installing on the internal memory and not the sdcard. Then the device became un-responsive and wouldn't boot up because the internal memory was full. So I decided to do a clean wipe and restore. That really downed the device. Now I have taken the unit apart and I am trying to install the recovery image to the sdcard. My windows XP will not recognize the device using the USB port. I tried flashing the drive using the technique of putting a metal piece in between the 6th and 7th mount of the sdcard and no matter how hard I try I cannot get the USB to recognize the device. Is there an easy way to make sure that the device mount to the USB port so that I can install the recovery image file using LiveSuit. I've been trying for days and I'm at my wits end. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. Please help!

Hi there,
Why writes the flash tool the following?

By the "reboot to flash mode":
"device cannot do flash mode because it is not msc device"

And at "nand erase" writes:
"download boot fail"
Shall I tick something by the nfs or ram tab?

The batch tool has an error too:
By the upgrade and restore write that download boot failed

So here I am. Trash? Or is there any solution? My eyes are hurting from the translations and from the wathching millions of pages. Can you help me please? The device is MK802III. I know it's not matching to this topic, but I'm really desperate yet....

Thank You!

Hello Failed to download my device, I tried to flash it as advised on the forum. But during the firmware is an error "Download IDB Failed" (screenshot attached) and on the TV screen now there is nothing, only the power light is lit. The computer sees the device, I used a different firmware and different data cable. What can be done?

It's not just you, I am afraid. I have exactly the same problem, the device, MK802iii won't even switch to either 1920x1080p-60 or 1920x1080p-50. It's strange, because every spec or review I've seen have mentioned 1080p support. Does it work for anyone at all?
