purchased three of them and all of them worked perfectly!

Please people, put your speed of Ethernet controllers (speedtest.net). Most of them are limited to USB 1.1 - about 5-10 mbps (unde 1MB/s) - not enough for full hd streaming. The wifi speed is greater, but not constant.

This adapter at Amazon works fine http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VG ... UTF8&psc=1

In addition to Ethernet it has 2 USB ports, 1 SD slot and 1 MicroSD slot. Everything works on both my MK802 III and MK802 IIIs. Using SpeedTest App the Ethernet runs at 50 mbs download and 10 mbs upload which is my Comcast WAN limitation.

Using Lan Speed Test on Windows 7 I get 79 mbs download and 58 mbs upload speeds to my Linkstation Server. Windows 7 identifies the adapter as DM9621 USB to Fast Ethernet.

This adapter at Amazon also works http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BJO ... UTF8&psc=1
This adapter at Amazon also works http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-USB-100M ... o+ethernet

Don't remember the exact Ethernet download and upload speeds but both unit's test speeds were similar to the first adapter and appear to be true USB 2 devices.

This ethernet adapter works well for me:
http://www.geekbuying.com/item/High-Spe ... 14264.html
Very cheap too, only $5 :)

The blue ones everyone always talks about seem to be tricky, they often don't work, no clue why some do and some don't. Additionally the blue ones are "USB2 full speed" which is nice talk for "USB1 12mbit". If they do work on android, the performance is limited to less than 10mbit. The above mentioned adapter is "USB2 highspeed 480mbit", which real USB2 speed. I can get the full 100mbit/sec through the above mentioned adapter.

Be careful, geekbuying also has another identical looking adapter that is also just "full speed" USB2, thus not more than 12mbit!

I got one of these after trying the blue one which didn't work.
Plugged it in and it worked straight away with no configuration required.
True plug and play and I'm getting the full speed of my Internet connection.
