Faulty Item - USB Socket has come off

Postby matg » Fri Nov 23, 2012 11:57 am

Unplugged mine earlier and the mini USB power socket has come off the circuit board :o

Not great quality, have asked for a replacement. I do not want to send to back though as I have stored personal information on it and now it cannot be removed as it cannot be powered on?

Low quality in solder. Issue in manufacture of device. :o
May have other devices with issues in solder! Rikomagic see the label 20121109351/8G.
Same case in UG802 and MX1 (OTG port). Read: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php? ... -PCB/page2
Micro USB is not as good, it is recommended Rikomagic put a Mini USB (like MK808).
