Unable to do video call on Skype

Dear all,

I ordered and received my Rikomagic MK802 III a couple of weeks ago, besides a pair of Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse and C270 webcam. I hooked the dongle up to my HDMI monitor and powered it with a 2A USB charger, the connected the USB transceiver and the webcam to it. After installing Skype from Market, I launched it and could log in with my account, send/receive messages with my friends but couldn't make any voice calls or video calls. All these calls always failed for no reason.

If any of you have ever tried a similar set up and could make video calls with Skype, please share with me what you did and if possible please show me how to get it done.

Are you on the latest firmware of 20121129 ? I have a similar setup and using C270 for skype audio/video calls without any problem.

The Skype version is also a factor. Some people have more luck with the older Skype v 2.9.0.315.

Not sure if it's a power related issue, but I tried with iPhone 2A USB charger and could get Skype video calls to work. Thank you all for your kind suggestions.
