Help about connecting Wi-Fi

Hello, I just purchased the Rikomagic V5 LE and having some trouble with the Wi-Fi connection.
I understood that Rikomagic spec for Wi-Fi is 802ac and its playing in 5 GHz area. What I am about to ask is can I use in 2,4 GHz area , cause the 802ac did mentioned that I still can use the 2,4 GHz. But, in reality I can not connect to my access point which playing in 2,4 GHz.

For information, I used the TP-Link access point with many version (From g to n type), but I can not connect to single one of them.

Can you help me with this ? Are there any configuration that I should do within the linux ? Or are there any recommendded access point with 2,4 Ghz that I can connect with ?

My mk802 v5 LE (Firmware 1.03) have almost the same problem, i can connect to my wifi (FRITZ!Box 3272 Wreless N) only after 3-4 try...
